Machinery diagnostics
When operating rotating machinery, the vibroacoustic diagnostics is a perfect tool to assess the technical condition and identify sources of dynamic forces. It reduces the cost of ownership by enabling planned maintenance and preventing failures from getting worse thanks to early and proper detection.
With diagnostics based on multi-faceted Fourier spectrum analysis, acceleration spectrum analysis, vibration velocity and displacement and proper referencing of vibration frequency to kinematics and design of individual machine parts, it is possible to detect and correctly identify technical failures. This method detects, among others the damage of gear teeth, rolling bearings, coupling misalignments, cavitation or dynamic rotor imbalance and electrical damage.
With the diagnostics, it is possible to identify and eliminate the causes of frequent breakdowns or sources of increased vibration in the malfunctioning equipment, to help reduce the cost of repair and extend the life span.
